What are some good scrapbooking tecniques

I've started to use paint.I know it is a little crazy but it looks neat. I use my stamps & dip them in the paint like I would an ink pad, & when ever I put it on my paper it kind of puffs up. I also started to paint of my pictures, I have a shape cutters stuff & instead of cutting my pictures I paint around shape, it is different, & I dont like to spend a lot of money on tons of stamps I only use a few times. Another tip is micheals has a bunch of dollar stamps & they work great because they r cut close & they do not cost much. good luck.

i dont know what techniques u know but here r a few ideas, hope u enjoy them
Make Simple Decorative Borders
Begin by choosing a wide-tipped, acid-free, permanent scrapbooking pen in black or any color that coordinates with ur page layout.
Draw a thick straight line with this pen anywhere that u would like to border, for example down one side of the page, around a corner of a page, or on opposite sides of facing pages for a two-page spread.
Next, add one or more thin lines using fine tipped pens over the bold line in a contrasting color & shape (wavy, zigzag, scalloped, etc.).
Now add stickers to fill-out the border. Consider small stickers that coordinate with the theme of ur page. Adhere these stickers on & around the lines u have drawn.
Finish the look by using fine tipped pens to add simple filler doodles like tiny dots, swirls, motion marks, little hearts, or use ur own imagination.

Tips:
Try using stickers from two different sets like hearts & bows, music notes & flowers, or party hats & gifts.
Experiment with different colors & shapes of the lines in step 3 to achieve an endless supply of different looks.
Dotted lines can be used to indicate motion on borders, for example falling leaves or snow flakes look great with swirling dotted lines ''floating'' on the page above them.

Here is how to create a similar page for yourself:

Supplies:

2 sheets cardstock-your ''go to'' colors. For me that is always black & white.
patterned paper scraps
decorative scissors
a black pen- mine is Micron by Sakura of America
alphabet stickers
assorted embellishments like buttons & Prima paper flowers
Step #1:

Choose ur background. Trim one piece to 8.5'' x 11'' & the other to 8'' x 10.5''. Use decorative scissors along each side of the smaller piece to create a decorative edge. Adhere smaller piece to larger cardstock mat.

Step #2:

Set up ur blocking. Using my photo as a starting point I cut coordinating scrap papers to create a blocked page design. Then, keeping the outside edges clean & straight, I used the decorative scissors along the inside edges of each blocked piece, including my photograph.

Step #3:

Create a title design. I used Kelly Panacci alphabet stickers by Sandylion & added my own handwriting & doodles to finish off the title. To give the word ''dream'' some impact, I outlined each sticker with a black Micron pen.

Step: 4:

Choose embellishments. Use the scissors to free-hand a simple shape such as a heart or flower & add matting using ur cardstock scraps. Place embellishment in lower left corner.

Step #5:

Add journaling & embellishments. I was surprised how many things I had tucked away that were just the right color for this page-dig through ur stash & u may be surprised too. I used Prima from the ''Day Spa'' color collection & assorted buttons. Once I started adding the little goodies, I just kept going. I filled the entire inside of the heart shape with Primas & buttons using clear adhesive dots & finally a couple accents in the title block.
