Are matte or glossy prints better for scrapbooking

Since you would like an opinion, I vote matte-I do not care for the shine of glossy-especially when the other materials you might be using on the page, probably wo not be shiny. But, of course, that is only my opinion.

I suppose it really does come down to preference. However a matte finish will stay 'cleaner' and look neater than glossy. It also does not glare when you are looking at it with more than one person and have lights on in the room. All things need to be considered.

It is whatever you perfer. Me personally I like the glossy photos the best. I think the glossy shine makes the pictures ''pop'' from the page and enhances the color. I too agree fingerprints show up a bit too much on the glossy ones. However there is nothing wrong with using matte photos. Its what ever you think will look best with your style scrapbook/page.

I prefer glossy - I like the shine - but they do leave fingerprints and tend to have a bit of a glare as someone suggested. If you're using a page protector though you can easily wipe off the fingerprints with a cloth. The page protector will give you a bit of a glare anyway!

I also love glossy pictures because I think it makes the color stand out more.

So ultimately, it is whatever you like best!

It really depends on your preference. I like the matte look better though, because there is not that shiny glare that the glossy pics give off. Also, fingerprints do not show up like they do on glossy ones.
