Im trying to learn how to scrapbook but dont know where to start. Any ideas or suggestions?

When Scrapbooking, which goes on Top? Is it the Cardstock on the paper, or Paper on the Cardstock??

A lot depends on what u r doing for each page. Paper is thinner than cardstock but since u can put the pages in clear protective sheets they will be supported very well. So.the choice is yours. If u want a certain pattern as a background & it is paper (not c'stock) then do that. Or, reverse the type of paper. It really does not matter. What matters is the look u r trying to achieve.
Michael is (and other craft stores) has scrapbooking classes as do many scrapbooking stores. The internet has lots of suggestions/ideas. Good luck:)

I usually do paper on cardstock. The cardstock is usually a solid color and I use that as the background. I find coordinating pattern paper to make things look pretty.

I suggest taking a scrapbooking 101 class at your local scrapbooking store. Also look at Simple Scrapbooks the magazine - it is my favorite one.

You usually put the paper on the cardstock because the cardstock is thicker and does not bend as easily as the paper would. But, you can pretty much do whatever looks good to you!
